We are pleased to announce the first EUPRERA PhD seminar. The registration is now open.

The PhD seminar is held in Roskilde University’s seminar house near Roskilde September 30 to October 3, the days just after the EUPRERA/LOKE Congress (September 27 – 30).

It is highly recommended that PhD students attend the congress as well as the seminar. There is a special package fee including both events and there is an early bird registration before June 15.

The aim of the seminar is to provide an international setting where doctoral students within corporate communication and public relations can present their ongoing work, get feed back from experts and peers and establish a valuable network for the future.

The seminar will benefit from the impact of the congress. The main focus of the seminar will be on the work in progress of participants. A special focus will be on the variety of subjects, approaches and methods that are found at different universities. A variety of working forms will be organised to make it dynamic and inspiring.

To register participants must submit a one page abstract of their ongoing work. Submit to euprera@ruc.dk.

By August 1^st participants must submit a 10 page paper on their PhD project. It is recommended that the paper is problem focused rather than conclusive. It should be a description of the subject of interest and the theoretical and methodological approach and indicate what kind of feedback is especially wanted. Indicate also the phase of the PhD project between start and end, so that feed back could be stimulating and fair to the process. Submit to euprera@ruc.dk

Participants must make a brief presentation of their work at the seminar and prepare to give feed back to up to 3 papers that must be read on beforehand and selected based on interest.

There will be a limited number of 30 doctoral students.

The venue will be a seminar house of Roskilde University “Søminestationen” situated in a wood by Holbæk bay. The address is Søminestationen, Dragerupvej 22, DK 4300 Holbæk.

The fee is:

* Includes the full package of  EUPRERA/LOKE conference and PhD seminar

** includes the PhD seminar:

-         transport from Roskilde September 30

-         all material

-         all meals

-         accommodation

-         transport back to Roskilde
